BinksBerry Bacon on a skillet grilled ,made into a BLT with a Tomato. Pure perfection .
We had the cranberry orange sausages this morning with buttermilk blueberry pancakes and we enjoyed them very much. 👌
We enjoyed the snack share! Everything is so fresh! The selections included are great….there is always something for each of us!!
That’s what I think when I open the Breakfast Box from the Farm. It has everything in it to make a wonderful start to your day. Omelets or home fries, breakfast sandwiches or even a frittata. The homemade sausage is super flavorful and my kids enjoy it too. We are very happy to buy local and support this Farm!
Everything was wonderful and tasty. Cooked up the last of the Swiss chard this morning. Very happy with everything! This week I’m trying the dinner…
Very informative. Very easy to understand and questions we're answered in simple terms. Loved getting vegetable plants. Lunch was delicious.
Some of the best burgers ever.
Excellent day and very informative. Looking forward to more more events !! Thankyou !!
We just prepared our first Binksberry Hollow spatchcock chicken using Julia Child’s roast chicken recipe from Mastering the Art of French Cooking (we figured she had nothing but farm raised free range chicken in her day, and she would know how to do it best). We roasted some seed potatoes, celery, and carrots below it. This bird was so juicy and delicious my husband abandoned his fork and knife and tore into it with both hands. It came vacuum sealed and we froze it (for way longer than we probably should have—September to May if my timing’s right); it defrosted beautifully and had no hint of freezer burn. Three and a half pounds in the wrap, thawed, before we opened it. Two hungry adults and a three year old ate and there was about 1/4 left. The owner’s wife was super sweet and let us pick up at an off time (not saying she will always do that, but she was kind to do it!) and chatted with us for a good while about she and her husband’s love for their work. We truly couldn’t be more pleased and will be happy to buy again in the very near future!
I thoroughly enjoyed this event; I learned so much! Looking forward to the next event on fruit.
Great presentation, good information, Great lunch.
It was our first time to the farm and we love it.
